Houston-Lyondell-Basell said it has entered into its first two U.S.power purchase agreements(PPAs),which will enable to company to reduce its carbon dioxide emissions by around 225,000 t/y.The combined agreements,representing 216 megawatts of renewable energy,support the company's climate goal to procure a minimum of 50 of electricity from renewable sources by 2030.
