What technologies do you offer and what are the key drivers of your technology strategy? On the industrial front, we are a full solution provider being able to supply a client from influent pump station, screening, EQ with separation & biological technologies, to dewatering of the sludge produced. For municipal applications, we offer more mature systems such as MBBR & integrated fixed-film activated sludge (IFAS), as well as newer offerings like DEMON, inDENSE and BIOCOS, which have their specific applications. DEMON, for instance, allows for treatment of high-strength ammonia using less energy and no external carbon. inDENSE technology allows for any activated sludge plant to be intensified and provides for better settling. Market drivers we have seen in the industrial space include the expansion of the food & beverage market. New ammonia limits and total nitrogen limits also have been drivers both municipally and industrially. Having the ability to treat more wastewater more efficiently using less energy is what clients are looking for.
