No further spot sales were reported out of Saudi Arabia this week, following on from the 23,000t sale by Sabic to Trammo last week at $405/t fob. The spot cargo will load on the Sanko Innovator in the frst week of April and will be delivered east. Ma'aden Phosphate Company MPC has halted operations at its cooling facility to carry out unscheduled technical repairs. This led to the shutdown of the ammonia plant located in the Ras Al Khair on 23 March, for an anticipated period of around 10 days.
