The bearish sentiment continues in the west with Mosaic forced to turn east to place tonnes – a sure sign of the weakness in both the US domestic and Latin American markets. Mosaic sold three DAP panamax cargoes to India’s IPL with the first cargo reportedly priced at $500/t cfr, netting back to around $460/t fob Tampa. Indian DAP demand remains healthy.
