Clariant Catalysts Awarded Contracts To Supply Lihuayi's Petchem Project

Beijing-Clariant said its catalysts business has been awarded three major contracts by China's Lihuayi Group for a new petrochemicals project in China.The contracts covers Clariant's OleMax 101,StyroMax UL3,and Catofin high-performance catalysts for a 1-million-t/y olefins facility,a 720,000-t/y styrene plant,and a propane dehydrogenation unit with a design capacity of 600,000 t/y for the production of propylene,respectively.Value of the contracts and a schedule for the project were not given.
