China’s Graphex to build graphite plant

Chinese spherical graphite producer Graphex has signed an initial agreement in late September with the Jixi municipal government to build a spherical graphite plant in the city’s Mashan district. The plant has a planned production capacity of 10,000 t/yr of spherical graphite and can coat and carbonise 10,000 t/yr of anode materials. The frm has not disclosed further details such as the construction schedule.
