Weather-adjusted demand on France’s GRT Gaz system rose by 3.4pc in 2015 compared with a year earlier because of increased gas use from the power sector. Power sector demand on the GRT Gaz system rose by 61pc in 2015, GRT Gaz says. Industrial sites with a high degree of intra-day swing, principally combinedcycle gas turbine plants, took 20.7TWh from the GRT Gaz system in 2015 compared with 7.7TWh a year earlier.
