Hexion Planning to Boost Production Of Epichlorohydrin at Its Pernis Site

Pernis—Hexion announced it intends to expand epichlorohydrin (ECH) production capacity at its manufacturing site in Pernis, the Netherlands. The planned project will add 25,000 t/y of ECH capacity and utilize bio-based renewable feedstocks by leveraging glycerin-to-epichlorohydrin production technology.
