Hylis olexoi (Palm) (Eucnemidae) in Shropshire

Vane traps were installed at llencott Pool, near Shrewsbury. One of these traps situated on the southern edge of the site (SJ49231600) on a large Salix fragilis and above the fallen trunk of another S. fragilis yielded two specimens of Hylis oxalai (Palm). The trap was set on 17 May 2022 and emptied on 22 June.
