While attending the Dipterist's Forum summer field meeting in Norfolk from 2 to 9 July 2022 I spent a day and a half collecting on the extensive University of Hast Anglia campus in Norwich (TG1907). Amongst the species collected were two non-native species namely: Callosobruchus maculatus (Fabricius), the cowpea seed beetle (Chrysomelidae; Bruchinae) and Coccotrypes dactyliperda (Fabricius), the date stone beetle (Curculionidae; Scolytinae). Both of these species have the potential to become naturalised outside in Britain given climate warming, and are ones to look out for in the wild.
