EU crop sowings progress without major issues

Sowings of cereals and oilseeds in the EU have progressed without major problems because of mostly favourable weather conditions, according to the European Commission's Mars division. Farmers in the largest cereal producing countries — France, Germany and the UK — have enjoyed mostly successful planting campaigns.
