Nothing new to report in Brazil, with more attention fxed this week on the Carnival in Rio. As reported last week, US refners have now fnalized 80,000t of contract volumes with a major end-user at price ranging between $149-154/t fob US Gulf for March loading/ April arrival in Santos. Freight on the USG-Santos route has been put at around $19-23/t depending on size of vessel, but would equate to around the mid-$170s/t cfr. This is in line with existing contract prices agreed for Kazakh and Russian volumes, via Trammo, for Q1 2015.
