摘要

US energy-related carbon dioxide emissions are expected to increase in 2022 and 2023 as the economy continues to return to pre-pandemic activity, the US Energy Information Administration said Jan. 20. In 2020, energy-related CO2 emissions decreased 11% as energy use declined during the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, the EIA said in a statement. However, emissions are picking back up.
