A major Chinese producer is widely reported to have sold 35,000-40,000t DAP to Australia at $480/t fob. The deal agreed this week and the vessel will sail after the Lunar New Year. Australia represents a premium market and this is fresh tonnage being moved under the new export tax regime. However, reports are emerging that offers of bonded warehouse DAP have risen to $440-450/t fob given tight international supply.
