While some NPK blenders have started moving product to farmers following good rainfall in the central-west region, buying activity for both domestic and imported MAP remain at relatively low levels. Prices remain under downward pressure, with the bid/offer range reported lower at $480- 485/t cfr. Speculation among some buyers is that prices will fall further into the $470s/t cfr for product loading in November and arriving in the first half of December. Nevertheless, one big blender sees the market in contango going into November.
