No spot available in Jubail for Feb lifting

Contrary to reports circulating in the market earlier this week, Aramco Trading does not have any spot tonnages available for sale for Feb loading. Aramco has made it clear they are sold out. Aramco Trading will now watch the market closely in the next two weeks prior to declaring a new price for March liftings. Earlier this month Aramco declared $150/t fob Jubail for February liftings to contract holders, an increase of $33/t on the January price. The latest QSP price for February at $163/t fob and new price ideas in India and China at close to $200/t cfr will guarantee another hefty price hike, according to most players in the market.
