turkmens to build new nitrogen complex

Turkmenistan’s state-controlled chemical company Turkmenhimiya is to build a new export-oriented nitrogen fertilizer complex based on locally-produced natural gas feedstock. The complex will be built at Garabogaz in northwestern Turkmenistan,with operations scheduled to start in June 2018.It will comprise plants to produce 2,000t/day of ammonia and 3,500 t/day of urea.
