The ammonia market has been stabilising over the past couple of weeks, refected in the May Tampa price which has rolled over from April to settle at $580/t cfr. The EU has removed the duty applied to imports of ammonia produced in Ukraine as a means of assisting the country in light of the recent political and social unrest. While this news has been welcomed by Ukrainian producers, attention continues to be focused on gas prices going forward. It is still not clear the extent of the price hikes applied to Ukrainian fertilizer plants.
