PhosAgro subsidiary PhosAgro-Cherepovets has signed a $440.6m loan agreement, backed by a insurance from the Nippon Export and Investment Insurance (NEXI), with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) and a group of banks consisting of The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. (BTMU), Citibank Japan Ltd. and Mizuho Bank, Ltd. JBIC will provide $264.4m (60% of the total) with a tenure of 13 years, while BTMU, Citi Japan and Mizuho Bank will lend $176.2m (40% of the total) with a tenure of seven years.
