摘要

A miniaturized multiband broadband quasi-self-complementary antenna (QSCA) is presented, which mainly consists of a third-step radiation patch on the right and a third-step wide slot on the left. With the help of an L-shaped metal ground patch, a coplanar waveguide (CPW)-like matching technique is used to improve the impedance matching of the antenna. To further compress the antenna, a U-shaped slot and a branch patch are loaded in the antenna, which makes the proposed antenna exhibit a broadband property with a compact size. The measured results show that the proposed antenna can cover 698-960 MHz (low band), 1427-1518 MHz, 1710-2690 MHz (middle band), and 3300-3800 MHz (high band) successfully. The compact size (100 mm x 25 mm) and simply printed geometry is suitable for wireless broadband devices.
