The inconvenient truth for producers and traders alike is that times are nevertheless tough. Phosphate prices are at historical lows. DAP Tampa last approached the $340s/t fob in November 2013. Most other key reference points are at five-year lows. This inevitably has consequences. Late last week Mosaic laid off 150 staff while this week saw restructuring at one of the world's largest fertilizer traders Trammo.
