Chinese granular prices have dropped again this week with the sale of a cargo into the country at around $88/t cfr. Price ideas have slipped further, now sitting in the mid- $80s/t cfr for future fixtures. The molten market has been muted of late, accompanied by comments that there are low stocks of molten sulphur in Japan and South Korea. But there have been reports of one very small parcel sold at around $60/t cfr, too small to be completely representative of the market.
