November a quiet month for sulphur arrivals

In November 2013 sulphur imports into Australia were limited to just 10,000t from Canada. Nevertheless, January-November 2013 imports into Australia of 898,000t were up by 17% in comparison with January-November 2012. The January-November 2013 import total comprised 898,000t from Canada, one cargo of 32,000t from Qatar and 8,000t from AE. Shell and Petrosul remain the dominant suppliers into Australia followed by Oxbow.
