RBCT coal exports hit 11-month high

Strong demand from Pakistan drove South African coal exports to an 11-month high in November, while inventories at the Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT) have been drawn down to a 10-month low. After remaining fat at about 6mn t/month since May, RBCT exported 7.2mn t last month, up by 15.8pc on the year, ac- cording to port data.
