MALAYSIAN floating production specialist Bumi Armada's focus on operational excellence and cost efficiencies led to improved full-year profit for 2021. ?Net profit for the year was 574.1 million ringgit (US$136.68 million) compared with 125.6 million ringgit in 2020. Net profit in the December 2021 quarter was 118 million ringgit compared with 144 million ringgit in the same quarter in 2020. However, revenues of 513.1 million ringgit in the December quarter of 2021 and 2.2 billion ringgit for the full year were both less than in 2020. The company's floating production and operations (FPO) business generated 480.1 million ringgit in the fourth quarter of last year compared with 532 million ringgit in the 2020 December quarter.
