West Central Railway has always been playing a leading role in providing the best facilities to its railway employees. In this series, taking special care of the facilities of Loco Pilots and Train Guards playing an important role in rail operations on West Central Railway, good facilities are being provided. The newly constructed three-storeyed running room at New Katni Junction was inaugurated by Shri Sudhir Kumar Gupta, General Manager, WCR. It is worth mentioning that for better train operation on West Central Railway, while expanding the facilities of loco pilots and train guards, a new 128-bedded three-storeyed running room with crew lobby has been made available at New Katni Junction of Jabalpur Division. Keeping in mind the health of railway employees, it has been made equipped with all modern facilities. Along with this, separate facility has been provided for women loco pilots. Following are the facilities available in this running room:-1. There are a total of 64 air conditioned bedrooms situated at ground, first and second floor including 04 Loco Pilot Inspector room and 04 bedroom for lady crew are available.
