Much attention was given to the NFL tender under which 100,000t DAP was awarded against the 150,000t requirement that closed on 22 July. Prices were as follows, in $/t cfr with 180 days' credit: 1. 50,000t at $341.12/t east coast to Midgulf (the Fu Tong has been nominated and will load in Nantong on 7 August) 2. 50,000t at $342.93/t west coast to Swiss Singapore. These prices would theoretically equate to the mid-$330s/t cfr net of credit which is considered the market now for Chinese material. Buyers not interested in buying are bidding $330/t cfr or lower but these are not deemed serious inquiries.
