LSB’s El Dorado ammonia expansion nears completion

LSB Industries' ammonia plant expansion at its El Dorado, Ar- kansas, chemical facility remains on track to be complete in February, with production expected to begin in the second quar ter. The 375,000 st/yr ammonia plant was approximately 93pc mechanically complete as of 10 January, the company said. The ammonia plant is expected to eliminate the company's need to purchase ammonia for ammonium nitrate (AN) production.
