Tampa price negotiations for April have yet to get properly underway between Yara and Mosaic. Much will depend on developments in the international market over the next week or two, but the general consensus is that there will be a small increase over the March price, or at least a rollover. Gas curtailments to nitrogen plants in Trinidad are scheduled to increase in 2H April, which may reduce export avail- ability in late April and early May from the Caribbean, and this, coupled with vessel delays at Yuzhny port could lead to some market shortage next month as the direct application season gets into full swing.
