摘要

Purpose of study: To determine the accuracy and consistency of an artificial intelligence-based wound assessment algorithm in comparison with expert human assessments of wound area and granulation tissue.Approach: A retrospective record review was performed across two independent wound care centers. The study included 199 digital wound photographs which had a complete wound edge and a visible ruler. Wil-coxon matched pairs signed rank tests and t-test were performed for assessing quantitative outcomes and Fisher exact test and Chi-square tests were used for assessing qualitative outcomes related to performance of Al-based software for wound area assessment.
