Colombia's coal output declined 8.3pc from last year during the third quarter as a result of two strikes and lower coking coal production as prices plummeted. Colombia produced 20.97mn t of coal in the third quarter, down from 22.88mn t in the same period last year, according to government mining office Ingeominas.
