ICL to pull out of Ethiopia potash mine project

Israeli firm ICL has agreed to cancel plans to build a potash mine in Ethiopia, as a result of the government's "failure to provide the necessary infrastructure and regulatory framework". The net book value of the development is $170mn, the company said. It has yet to provide an estimation of the costs associated with closing the operations.
