Chinese anode-grade petroleum coke prices have fallen so far in November as power shortages and upcoming emissions restrictions weigh on industrial activity. Independent refneries began reducing prices for medium and high-sulphur anode-grade green petroleum coke (GPC) prices during the last week of October as their inventories started to rise. Declines ranged from around 20-100 yuan/t ($3.13-15.67/t) during that week and prices have continued to drop, sources said.
