Hurricane halts US port, railroad operations

Shippers can expect long delays as ports in the southeastern US shut down and railroads close more lines in preparation for Hurricane Matthew. The US southeast is evacuating, with heavy rain and sustained winds nearing 125mph expected. The outer bands of the storm are approaching Florida on 6 October, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) said.
