Urea prices firm, supply tightens for October

With most producers comfortable for October, urea prices are firm for the nearby and some marginal gains may be recorded where traders still have to cover short positions. Prices rose $3-4/t in North Africa and the Middle East this week in new spot sales for October for that reason. Indications from China also rose to $200/t fob for granular urea, despite the holiday halting activity there.
