Crude oil production in the US returned to its post-pandemic peak of 12.3 million barrels per day last week, according to estimates from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), buoyed by an increase in volumes from the lower 48 states. The EIA's Weekly Petroleum Status Report , published Wednesday, showed that US crude output increased by roughly 100,000 b/d inthe week ended Mar. 10.
