Sam Behseta: Welcome, everyone. My name is Sam Behseta, former editor of CHANCE magazine. I’m glad to have Rob Kass here today for a special conversation with our guest of honor, Professor Emery N. Brown. Emery Brown is the Edward Hood Taplin Professor of Medical Engineering and Computational Neuroscience at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is also the Warren M. Zapol Professor of Anesthesia at Harvard Medical School, and an anesthesiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital.
