Argentina is enjoying a boom season for UAN thanks to a huge rise in plantings of corn and is the sole exception to a largely stagnant UAN market. Profertil tendered on 11 October for 18,000t of UAN 32 for 1-7 November shipment to San Nicolas. Keytrade took the award and will ship the cargo along with another 7-9,000t sold to YPF and ASP. The price is understood to be $163-164/ t cfr basis two port discharge. Keytrade has backing from CF Industries for the business.
