The Benelux market remains stagnant. Fresh demand has yet to emerge, and prices are still at ?245/t cif inland, equivalent to around ?240-245/t fca ARA ports. MOP will be needed for application after frosts, though, so some buying is expected to arise shortly. Nevertheless, a significant northwest European supplier believes that, although distributors will fill their respective inventories next month, demand will not significantly pick up again until December at the earliest, and most probably not before January-February.
