Koch is understood to have loaded 40,000t onto the Clipper Neptun at Point Lisas during 5-10 May for shipment to Tampa. Major ammonia producer Trinidad and Tobago's natural gas shortage is now causing supply restrictions of 20pc, staterun gas company NGC technical adviser Frank Look Kim said. The three year-long curtailments have been caused by a lack of investment in the energy sector until recently and offshore production platforms being decommissioned for maintenance, Look Kim told a parliamentary committee on 9 May.
