Multiple sales of granular urea took place in Brazil at the $240/t cfr level last Friday. Traders then raised offers to $250-255/t cfr and have spent this week trying to persuade reluctant buyers to pay up. At presstime, one sale was confrmed at $250/t cfr for November delivery into main ports and more buyers are expected to accept the new level by the end of the week.
