Asia tenders in focus, while Brazil prices climb

The southeast Asian tender season is underway, with Petrokimia Gresik this week awarding four suppliers under its tender for 250,000t of standard MOP. Uralkali and BPC are amongst the foursome, with the other two parties to be confirmed. Exact prices are not yet established, but indications are that the level is around $240/t cfr, contributing to an amendment of the price range for the region’s market.
