APA Group is committed to further expanding its east coast gas grid in a bid to address forecast gas shortfalls in the southern market. The group is investing $270 million in a bid to increase winter peak capacity of the East Coast Grid by 25 per cent. Stage one is targeted for completion by the end of the winter 2023 season, ahead of forecast shortages. Stage two is expected to be online by the beginning of 2024.
