With native bush, towering gum trees and birdsong drowning out nearby traffic, interior designer Angelique Armstrong's Christchurch property has different personalities, depending on where you stand. It's what Angelique was aiming for: "I wanted the spaces to feel different, like yin and yang."On one side of the property a lush green canopy of native plants and a large cherry blossom tree cascade down a layered garden to a stream. Dark wood cladding and a kwila deck nestle into nature.
