KHPC has sold 30,000t of granular urea to a trader at $302- 303/t fob for end-October loading from Assaluyeh. Iran exported 251,000t of urea in September, down from 440,000t in the same month of 2013. Year-to-date exports were 1.266m tonnes, 28% lower than in 2013. Besides the large fall in exports, there was a striking change in the destination of exports: whereas India took 71% (1.25m tonnes) of Iranian exports January-September 2014, it has accounted for only 33% this year.
