Last week we reported that Mosaic had purchased some September and October cargo into Tampa at $230/t and $215/t cfr respectively, but no supplier could be confirmed by press time. This week it is understood that around 2-3 suppliers have agreed sales with Mosaic within this price range and at least one shipment in this range is being delivered this week. In the domestic market, Corn Belt buying activity is mute. One trader said current terminal inventory levels do warrant more buying, but buyers appear to be holding out for softer prices.
