DAP prices have fallen to $305/t fob on two sales to Pakistan. These are not short sales and are thought to have been prompted by the need to generate cash. Breakeven costs for the most efficient producers is cited somewhere around $290/t fob. Moreover, the domestic season is reportedly lacklustre. And with India not buying, producers have few options.
