Pakistan really is the only game in town currently with two more cargoes lined up at relatively stable prices in the mid/ high-$310s/t cfr - one ex-Australia and one from China - plus strong rumours of a third. The Australian deal takes the fob Townsville price down substantially towards $300/t fob but in truth there were few options with Indian buying once again non-existent. This is what is really worrying producers globally and there are reports of a further weakening in the Chinese fob prices towards $300/t fob. Further production cuts seem likely.
