CJ Biomaterials, NatureWorks Ink MCA For Sustainable Materials Solutions

Woburn-CJ Biomaterials and NatureWorks have signed a master collaboration agreement (MCA) to partner on the development of sustainable materials solutions based on CJ Bio-material's PHACT polyhydroxyalkanoate technology and NatureWorks Ingeo polylactic acid technology. The parties will develop high-performance biopolymer solutions to replace fossil fuel-based plastics in applications ranging from compostable food packaging and food serviceware to personal care, films and other end products.
