Russian phosphate and nitrogen fertilizer producer PhosAgro produced 8pc more product in the first nine months of 2016 compared with a year earlier. Fertilizer sales increased by 7.7pc over the same period. Production of phosphate-based fertilizers and feed phosphates rose by 8.7pc to 4.3mn t in January-September. Production of phosphate rock rose by 9.8pc to 6.3mn t. Sales of phosphate-based fertilizers and feed phosphates increased by 8.3pc to 4.4mn t. Sales of phosphate rock rose by nearly 34pc to 1.8mn t. Production of nitrogen-based fertilizer rose by 5.4pc to 1.1mn t, while sales increased by 5.3pc to 1.1mn t.
